Equally important to my field placement is exploring Ghana and learning more about the people who live here. As you can see, getting to places in the southern regions (Western Region, Central Region, Greater Accra, Eastern Region and Volta Region), is much easier because I live in the South. Don't let the number of places I have visited fool you - I spent a tremendous amount of time sitting on buses and/or tro tros! Having two day weekends makes it tricky to plan trips.

Greater Accra Region: Kokrobite (October 28-29th)

Eastern Region: Boti Falls, Akaa Falls (October 30th)

Ashanti Region: Kumasi (November 5-6th)

Greater Accra Region: Bojo Beach (November 12th)

Western Region: Takoradi, Butre, Busia (November 18-20th)
